This is exactly the kind of Zin I’ve been craving—much more refined and food-friendly than the typical jammy stuff, with a lovely single-vineyard character that really shines through.

Finally, a Zinfandel that doesn't hit you over the head with sugar. This single-vineyard bottle has a refined elegance while still being undeniably a Zin—restrained but damn yummy.

I was a little skeptical of a Zin that wasn't going to be a jammy fruit bomb, but this one has a lovely elegant structure that still feels true to the varietal. It's definitely a sipper for a slower evening rather than a backyard BBQ.
