Bushmills Original 750ml

The smoothness from those bourbon barrels is exactly what I was hoping for, and the hint of sherry makes it dangerously easy to sip neat. I've been through a few bottles already, and the 750ml size feels just right for a weeknight pour without being too much.

The sherry cask influence really rounds out the sweetness without making it syrupy, which is a nice balance for a daily sipper. It’s smooth enough to drink neat, and the 40% ABV is just right for me.

The bourbon barrel aging gives it that smooth vanilla backbone, but the oloroso sherry casks add a subtle dried-fruit sweetness that lingers nicely. Poured it neat after dinner and it went down dangerously easy.
