I opened a bottle this weekend and was blown away by how the Sangiovese fruit held its structure even after three hours in the decanter. The Riserva designation really shows in the depth of flavor here—it's way more complex than the standard Brunello I usually grab.

Let this one breathe for a good hour before serving—the tannins softened beautifully and the dark cherry notes really opened up. It paired perfectly with a slow-cooked ragu, and the extra age from the Riserva designation gave it a depth I wasn’t expecting for the price.

Opened it last night with a pasta dish and the depth from the extra aging in the Riserva really shone through, complex but still approachable. It’s my first Brunello and I’m already planning to grab another bottle.
