Ricard Pastis De Marseille 750ml

The 750ml bottle lasted us most of the summer, and the cloudy swirl when you add cold water never gets old. Licorice-forward but not harsh, exactly what I want over ice on a hot evening.

The 750ml bottle has lasted me through several dinners already — I mix it about 1 part to 5 with cold water and the cloudy anise flavor comes through clean. Reminds me of sitting at a café in the south of France.

Took a chance on this French anise-flavored bottle for a casual get-together, and it mixed beautifully with cold water just as the label suggests. Not quite as smooth as some pricier pastis I've tried, but the 750ml size felt generous for the price.
