I was pleasantly surprised by how well the buttery oak notes balance with the crisp grapefruit finish—it’s smooth enough for sipping alone but also pairs nicely with a simple pasta dinner.

Opened this with dinner and it was gone by dessert — that buttery finish lingers just right without being heavy. The oak and grapefruit make it interesting enough for a weeknight but still easy to enjoy.

The grapefruit note really comes through on the finish, which keeps the butteriness from feeling too heavy. It's a solid weeknight pour for the price, though I wish the oak were a touch more subtle.
