This has that classic Rioja balance I was hoping for—the oak doesn't overpower the fruit at all. Really impressive complexity for the price, perfect with a simple roast chicken.

Opened it with dinner last night and wow, that old-school complexity really comes through. The oak and fruit play off each other beautifully without one shouting over the other, and it made the whole meal feel special. Already thinking about grabbing another bottle.

The oak and fruit balance is exactly what I look for in a Rioja, and this delivers on both without being heavy-handed. Sipped it with lamb chops and the complexity kept each glass interesting. Will definitely order another bottle.
