Yellow Spot Irish Whiskey 750ml

Poured a glass last night and was blown away by how smoothly the honeyed sweetness blends with the spice. That 12-year aging in bourbon and sherry casks really makes a difference. Easily the best Irish whiskey I've bought lately.

The triple cask finish really comes through—the sherry influence adds a nice dried fruit complexity on top of the honey sweetness. Smooth enough to sip neat, which is exactly what I’ve been doing every evening since it arrived.

The honeyed sweetness is exactly as described, and that sherry influence gives it a velvety spice that lingers long after each sip. I’ve tried other pot still whiskeys, but this 12-year-old feels remarkably smooth without losing any character. It’s my new go-to for slow evenings.
