Cynar 70 Proof 1L

I was worried 70 proof would taste harsh, but it's actually smoother and sweeter than the regular version. That extra orange peel and cinnamon really comes through over ice, and the liter bottle lasts me a good while.

The coffee and dark chocolate notes come through way more than I expected for an amaro, and it's noticeably richer than the standard version. Poured over one big rock after dinner, it's become my go-to nightcap.

I usually find amaros too sweet, but this one balances the orange peel and cinnamon against that artichoke bitterness really well. Poured it over ice after dinner and the higher proof keeps it from tasting syrupy.
