Deacon Giles Amaro Diacono 750ml

I've been using this as my go-to base for Negronis, and its bone-dry bitterness cuts through vermouth perfectly without adding any syrupiness. Sipping it neat after dinner also hits the spot, with a clean, sharp finish that really aids digestion.

Finally got a bitter amaro that doesn't try to be sweet. The bone-dry finish is perfect for my evening digestivo, and it mixes cleanly without adding any sugar to a cocktail.

Used this in place of a sweeter amaro for a Negroni variation and the bitterness really balanced things out nicely. It's quite dry on its own as a digestif, which I've come to appreciate after a heavy meal.
